30 weeks today!!

30 weeks! What a mile-stone! Sucha big weight off my shoulders too. I know that 30 weeks is a GREAT week to make it to with 3 babes inside. It is still early, but we are going. I have heard from a couple of people that they want to see "us" growing, so here is a belly picture... 30 weeks.

The babies are doing as well as can be. The dopplar on Baby C's cord this morning was ok. There is still absent diastolic flow, but no reverse flow. He is very low on fluid, so they are going to be watching that closely. So, we'll have to make sure that they just keep growing. We have another growth check on Wednesday, so we will try to update here once we know more. So... just more prayers are needed. Thank you.

As for other things...
Since I have been in here I have gotten a lot of visits from friends and family. It has been soooooooo wonderful to see everyone, even though they all saw me at probably the worst they will ever see me! :) I have received some wonderful flowers and some gifts. Here is a picture of the beautiful flowers and diaper cakes we got...

I'll explain left to right- If you look closely there in the left corner there is some M&M's and the game Farkle (which I am totally addicted to) and some Beudreaux's Buttpaste (remind me to tell you the story behind that!). We received those gifts from the Goodman family from our church.

The orchid is from our church's music director and his wife, Kevin and Rachel Padworski.

The diaper cakes are from Samantha and James Soesbe, friends from Gillette. The left cake is 30 premie diapers, the middle is 30 size 1 diapers, and the far right is 30 newborn sized diapers. They are great!! She didn't realize it till later, but take a look at the "Fisching" pools. Our babies will be little Fischer's, Get it??? Ok, good. She makes these cakes for lots of people (you can find others she made on her blog here.)

The daisies are from James (and Grant, Alex, and Ethan). James has been keeping the vase full of flowers for me from them.

The mini roses are from my aunt Marie and my cousins Alecia and Ryan. They are so pretty and very fragrant.

The pink and white roses my mom brought to me over 2 weeks ago. They are still going strong. I don't know what the growers or store did to these flowers, but they are the LONGEST lasting flowers I have ever had. They are still very beautiful and I get lots of complements on them.

We have received other gifts from some other church friends, Nita Brown and Cathy O'Brian came by and brought some goodies. They were wonderful homemade cookies, other snacks, games and a wonderful giftcard!

I cannot thank everyone who has just dropped by either. I love having visitors. I get bored here alone!

Speaking of family coming by, they allow patients dogs to visit them. So, Jet has gotten to come by a couple of times. He absolutely HATES the elevator, so James brings him up the stairs. I have missed him since I have been in, but here is a picture of he and I "cuddling" on my bed. (he only stayed there for the picture to be taken.)

Well, I suppose I should update you on James. He kind of gets left out of these things often! :) He is doing well. Working hard. Keeping busy. He doesn't like to be here in the hospital (I don't blame him, neither do I) but he comes by twice a day and stays most of the evening with me. He has started helping me with my monitoring in the evening. He finds the babies and straps them down to me. It's kinda fun that he can be involved like that.

He is really excited for these boys to be born. He is going to be a wonderful dad. See, he's all smiles...

Thanks for all thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Jessica (and James, Grant, Alex, and Ethan) :)

Another Week...

Well, Baby C has bought us at least another week in here! His dopplar looked really good today. It still has not changed, it is still absent, but at least it is not reverse.

So, things are progressing. I am 29 weeks today (or yesterday by the time you read this probably). That is a good milestone. Dr. P wants to get us to at least 31 if not more. We are cautiously optomistic that we will be going longer than that.

The way I am feeling these days, I wouldn't care if they took them now or later. I don't see how they have any more room to grow. I am just stretching and stretching each day. There are quite a few more contractions now, but I am sure it is just from the boys moving.

We have an acrobat on our hands with Baby B. He has decided that he can't decide which way to lay. One week he is transverse (or head down toward my pelvis), the next week he is breach (head up by my ribs). Seriously, in the almost 3 weeks we have been here he has gone from transverse, to breach, to transverse, back to breach. We'll see how long he stays this way. I don't know how he does it, but he must be kicking the other two around. (I think we have found our little dominant one!!)

I have some pictures to post of some stuff that I have received lately, but I will have to do that tomorrow. I have already taken my medicine for the night and will probably fall asleep within a few minutes. So, for now, I will let you go.

Know that your prayers are still appreciated and we hope that you know you are also in our prayers. Thank you. Good night.
Jessica

Explanation of Baby C's Absent Diastolic Flow

So, I know a few of you are actually wondering what it is that is making Baby C so sick. I finally found an explanation for you, because I could NOT remember what the doctor explained it as. I know James heard it all, but I didn't. So...

Absent diastolic flow in the umbilical cord is when blood moves forward only when the heart is contracting.

If Baby C gets bad enough, he may end up having this... Reverse diastolic flow in the cord. When the blood moves back toward the heart when the heart relaxes. (Found this info at http://www.tttsfoundation.org/questions_explained.php)

So, we want to keep praying that it is just absent and never gets to reverse. We also want to make it the next 2 1/2 weeks to 30 weeks! That is what we have our sights set on right now! I only pray that God keeps C and all the rest of us safe until (or past) then.

Thank you for the continuing thoughts and prayers.

No change

We had a doppler this morning on Baby C's cord. There is still no diastolic flow (which was expected, but we could hope there was.) However, there wasn't any reverse flow either, that would be bad if there was.

So, things have not changed. C is still having a hard time keeping up with his brothers. I still have pre-eclampsia, though just a mild case.

We have a growth check next Wednesday to see if C is growing. Please keep those prayers coming that he grows. We don't want to have to bring him into this world too soon.

I have say thanks to everyone that has helped James and I so far. We appreciate all the visits, help with the house and Jet, and the emails and letters that people are sending. It is very encouraging to know we have such a great circle of friends and family around us, praying for us. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

In the Hospital Until They Come Out...

Yes, you read correctly. I am in the hospital now until the God decides that it is time for the boys to be born. I'll explain why in the recap of yesterday below...

It was a very, VERY long day yesterday. (It still really hasn't ended for me, cause I can't sleep in this bed.) I came to the hospital for my nurse/office visit at 3:00 pm. Everything looked great there. My blood pressure was 116/74, not protein or glucose in my urine, my weight gain was ok (only 2 lbs) and everything else looked just fine. We chatted with the nurse just like we would be going home at the end of the day.

At 4:00 pm we stepped inside the ultrasound room. They did growth checks on all the babies and here is what they found. In the 1-day-short-of 2 weeks, Baby A went from 1lb 5oz to 1lb 10oz. Baby B went from 1lb 7oz to 1lb 14oz. Baby C went from 14oz to 1lb (or 16oz).

Baby C finally showed us his heart and it looked really good. He also waved at us a couple of times as we first started looking at him. However, when they went to measure the (I think) diastolic pressure in his umbilical cord, it was absent. (I think I am getting these terms right. It was a lot of medical jargon that I am not used to.) Basically, in layman's terms, he is having trouble pumping blood out and to the placenta. It is resisting him for some reason. This is the reason he is small.

"What can be done about this?" you may ask. Well, not really anything to cure it. They admitted me to the hospital to regulate how much I am on my feet and so they can monitor the babies 3 times a day.

Basically, Baby C is going to have this issue from now on. Dr. P wants us to try and eek out another 4 weeks that he can grow. Then when C decides that he needs to come out, all 3 of them will have to come out. Dr. P said it's not if Baby C gets sick, its WHEN Baby C gets sick (or stops growing) that they will bring them out. (We just hope it is at least 4 weeks from now and not any sooner.)

The other issue that we have is since the placenta is acting up, it is also putting bad stuff into my body. Putting me at a much greater risk for Pre-eclampsia (click on the word for information). Since I also have a history of this in my family, that puts me at a greater risk also. So, they want to closely monitor me for this.

Dr. P ordered that I go swimming 2 times a day, at 10am and 3pm (the hospital has a pool!). I told him that was great!! (That's way more than I would be able to go on my own.) He said that the swimming will help push some of the nasty stuff that we are all getting out and keep the swelling down a lot. Hopefully this works (as it seems to be working well with me just at home, so 2 times a day here should work wonders.)

So, I was allowed to go home and gather my stuff and go out to eat one last time with James before I had to check in. We went to Olive Garden and stuffed ourselves. It was hard to leave Jet at home, because I know he is going to miss me like crazy since I have basically been home with him every day.

I checked in at 8:00 pm and we did a mountain of paperwork. We monitored the boys for the first time (an hour each time we do it) and they all looked good. Though they did say that you could see that C was having a more difficult time than his brothers. I then got swabbed for Strep B, got a steroid shot (which will help the babies develop faster), and had my blood drawn for a couple of lab tests.

The nurse finally left me to go to sleep at 11:30pm. I was sooooo exhausted, or so I thought. I tried to get comfortable on this bed, but it has this weird airbed feature that inflates and deflates every-single-time I move. It got very annoying and the nurse didn't show me how to turn it off. So, I have been up quite a bit and now it is 6:00 am Thursday and I have probably only gotten 2-3 hours of sleep. I guess I will have to nap quite a bit today.

So, long post, I know, but I thought some splainin' was needed. I am at Presbyterian/St. Luke's hospital and I am allowed visitors. However, no one under 18 is allowed due to the threat of H1N1 still. If you want to come visit, just give either James or I a call on our cell phones and let one of us know. (James will be working still, but he will call me if anyone calls him.)

We appreciate all the thoughts and prayers. God can do great things and we just pray that C continues to grow for a while longer.

My boys are doing REALLY REALLY well

So, we had a check-up today. I had to go in for a cervix check and the boys got a fluid check. Everything looks really really good. The boys are growing so much that they had interesting time telling which body part belonged to which boy. It didn't help that we had an intern doing the ultrasound, and this was her first triplet u/s. She was kind of overwhelmed with it all (she hid it well) but we didn't get any pictures. It's ok, we'll get some next time. Our next appointment is July 2!

I found out how each baby is laying and what their heart rates are. Baby A (one of the twins) is on my lower right. His legs are just above my right hip and his head is down towards my pelvis. His heartrate was 148.

Baby B (the other twin) is on my lower left. His head is down toward my pelvis (so the twins headbutt eachother a lot.). His legs are up almost at my ribs. His heartrate was 150.

Baby C is up on top of the other two. His head is on my right side near A's feet. His legs are on my left near B's legs (that's why I feel so much more kicking in that area!) His heartrate was higher than the twins at 163.

I also had a nurse check-up. My BP was 117/78 (really really really good). There was no issues with my urine. I was well hydrated today. I also only gained 2 lbs, which is what they want me to be gaining right now. They are happy I am going swimming lots and they told me that I am not on any restrictions right now (other than the 3 times a day of down time.)

I know I didn't post a belly picture yesterday (when I usually do) but I just didn't have time to take one. I'll try to get one done this weekend and post again. Hope you are having a good day. Tata for now.

21 Week Belly Pic

21 weeks and 3 days along. I can't believe how fast time has gone! We are soooooo not ready for them to come in just few short weeks (hopefully its about 14 or 15 of those weeks, but only God knows!)

Today I had something pretty exciting happen! I was resting in my office chair after eating lunch and felt someone moving around and kicking or punching. So I decided to prod them along. I am pretty darn sure it was Baby C. So, I pressed on my belly. What do you know, but just a few seconds after I did that I felt a kick on the inside, AND outside! Plus, I saw the kick! Then he did it again! And Again!! I was chatting with James on MSN messenger and I was sooooo excited!!! I can't wait till James can feel them all move! It is the most wonderful feeling.

Well, that is my update for today. I hope all is going well with you. Tata for now!

Introducing the Fischer Boys!!!

Yes, you read that right. The triplets are all boys!!!

James' mom Peggy got to go to the ultrasound with me on Friday and see all the babes. They looked really good and so did their fluids, they are concerned about TTTS in the inditicals (TTTS is twin-to-twin transfusion syndrom.) So far all looks good there.

So, we have decided to introduce you to them with their names. There is one catch though. We don't know who is who yet until they come out. We will be naming them in the order they come out.

The first baby boy will be Grant William. The second will be Alexander Timothy. And the third baby boy will be Ethan Mark. Most likely they will be coming out with the identicals first then the singleton, but we don't know for sure yet.

Halfway Point

So, I know we are not technically to 18 weeks yet (and that is half of 36) but I don't figure I will get that far! I hope I do, but being realistic, I don't think I will.

Therefore, I am at 17 weeks and 3 days today. (Double that and its 34w6d, or basically 35w.)

I am not feeling well this week. My head is stuffy, and I have been having some horrible ligament pain (round ligament pain if you want to google it). The babies are growing fast, therefore I am growing too!! You may be able to see it in this weeks picture, but I don't. I got a comment from a friend last night that I am looking very pointy! I guess you just have to see me in person to understand that.
From the ultrasound last week, the babes were all crammed together fairly low. They are all still residing lower than my bellybutton, which in this picture is at about the white line (on my shirt) mid belly. I guess I just have to get used to them all being crammed together, because that is what they will be for the rest of the time!
James got to "feel" the babies last night. I laid on my back and he felt around my belly and could feel 2 of the little bodies. We can't see them kick or move yet, but I can feel them. I don't know if James can yet. We have tried, but they get shy when daddy wants to feel!
I think James finally... FINALLY... let the cat out of the bag at his office. He had only told his boss and 2 people and told them to keep quiet about it. Yesterday, he told one of the two that they could start telling people. So, we'll see how excited people are here in a couple of days once word gets around!
We had a wonderful weekend for Mother's Day weekend. We took a short trip to Fort Collins and stayed at the Ft.Collins Marriott. It was really nice. We spent 3 hours Saturday night in the pool and then another hour on Sunday morning. It felt so good to get the weight off of me. I floated and just sat around in the pool the whole time. No strenuous swimming for me. When I would go to get out, I would feel about 500 lbs. I loved it and am going to get permission from my dr/nurse to be able to swim a lot more this summer.
We also had a wonderful evening Saturday night at the hotel. We had tried going out to dinner, but the places we went to were dives and we didn't stay. James suggested that we just go back to the hotel and eat at their restaurant. It was actually the best food we could have had. Plus, it was not noisy and crowded. It was really, really nice!
Sunday morning we had room service delivered early. Because if I don't eat within 30 minutes of waking up, I feel really nauseous. Then at 11:30 we checked out and had brunch (basically lunch) there at the hotel. They were doing a special Mother's Day brunch. It was nice, but not a whole lot of selection.
So, enough of my ramblings. I'll update you next week when/if we find out what the singleton is!! So long for now.

We are having....................

So, the pictures we got from the ultrasound today are extremely aweful. You can't tell what anything is. No profile pictures or anything like that. So, no pictures.

I guess I need to get to the good part though!!!!!!!!

We are having......

Well, we only know what the twins are. The singleton was NOT cooperating with us. They tried everything to get he/she to move, but their legs were tucked up under it's bum, so we couldn't see!

So, we know that the twins are.....

Are you ready?

Really?

Ok, then you must scroll down just a little bit more to find out....

Hehe...

Am I torturing you yet???

Ok, I will quit.

The twins are....

BOYS!!

Yep!! Not what I thought, but we are still extremely excited! As we were watching the ultrasound I could tell almost immediately that they were boys. James still hasn't gotten the ultrasound reading down yet, but he'll get there. I didn't get a confirmation until we asked the tech and she said boys. James asked her how sure she was, and she said 99.9% sure.

So, we have to wait at least 2 more weeks to find out what the singleton is!!! Hopefully she/he cooperates this time. Fingers crossed that she/he does!!!

Well, that is all for now. James and I are going on a short weekend getaway and leaving the computers behind!!! How will we ever survive?!?! It will be nice to just disconnect and get away.

Ta ta for now!

I CAN'T WAIT TILL FRIDAY!!!

Friday is our BIG ultrasound!!! We get to see the babies again, of course, but we also get to find out what gender they are. What do you think they are???? I think they are 2 girls and a boy, but we'll just have to wait to see.

So, I finally broke down the other day and bought some real maternity clothes. I had just been using the belly bands to hold up pants and I had gotten some oversized clothes at Lane Bryant. Well, James and I went on a small shopping spree on Friday night (or was it Saturday... I dont remember exactly.) I found a Motherhood Maternity store that actually sells plus sized clothes in the store!!! (YIPPPEEEEE... I know who will be getting my business from now on.)

We had to go all the way over to Arvada (I think is where it is) to the Colorado Mills mall, which is an outlet mall. But, I got a pair of jeans, a swim suit (since I think I will probably spend as much time in the pool as possible) another belly band, and I think that was it right now. (The pants were on sale for $15, can't beat that!! The swim suit was only $30 too!!) I was so excited!

We also went to Lane Bryant where I found this really really really cute dress that I will be able to wear for a good length of my pregnancy. It is long and sleeveless, and has lots of room for me to grow! I am wearing it today and I broke down and took another belly pic in it. (I have a sweater on in the picture so you can't see the whole dress.) I know it isn't form fitting, but you can get the idea of how much I am growing. Take a look!

I am getting big, but since I am only 16 weeks right now, I know I will get much MUCH bigger!!

Oh, I should tell you about my adventure on Friday. I decided about 12:30 that I wanted Taco John's for lunch. The nearest TJ's to our house is about 15 minutes away, so I went and got myself two tacos and a small super potato ole! MMMMMM it was sooooooo good. I started driving home and remembered that I needed to stop by the bank, which I had just passed, so I circled around and went to the bank.

As I sat in the bank drive up, I get a call from my doctors office telling me that I am missing my 1:00 ultrasound. We had rescheduled the ultrasound from that day to May 8, so I told them so. They are the ones that forgot to delate it from their system. But they had forgotten to schedule me for an office visit on May 8, which they still had scheduled for that day, so they asked if I could get there by 2:00. Sure, I had nothing else to do! So I went to the doctors office.

I was very flustered by the time I got there. I had basicly made 2 huge circles in the car, and just ate a sodium filled lunch. They called me back and had me stand on the scale. I looked at the number and was frustrated because I didn't think it was high enough. (Last appoinment I was short 2 pounds.) But then they looked at my chart and I was right on track! PHEW... but not good for my blood pressure!

They took my BP, and it was 140/90! I about fell over. I told them "I just ate at Taco John's. Take it again before I leave and I promise you it will be going down." So, they did, and it went down to 130/82, still high, but decreasing! They weren't worried. They just said next time don't do that!

The appoinment went well, and I got to see the babies and hear all their heartbeats on their small ultrasound machine there in the office. It is not a high quality machine, but it did it's job. They looked really good. The nurse reassured me that at our next appointment, since we want to know gender, the ultrasound techs are really determined and will spend some amount of time finding out what they are!!!!!!!! I am soooooooooooo excited!!

Well, I suppose I should stop blabbing on and on and let you get back to whatever you may have been doing. I will post pictures and results as soon as I can Friday evening, so check then for more. Our appointment isn't until 3:00 pm, so don't panic (those of you I normally call or text) if I don't get to you until about 5:30 or 6:00. (This is also the ultrasound where they will do a full systems check on each baby, so it will take a while.)

Like I said, I will let you go. Remember to leave what you think the babies are in the comments section!! I can't wait to see your responses!

Week 13 Appointment

So we went to the doctor today, and had a wonderful visit. Everything looked great. They are measuring well, and heartrates are A-153, B-154, and C-167. The thing is B & C are the identicals so the heartrate thing is not going to work right now. Our next appointment is not till May 8, and we hopefully will be able to find out the sex of the babies.

Here are the pictures of the babes from today.
Probably the last family picture that we are going to get before they come out!!!

Baby A profile.

Baby A profile #2.
Baby A flipped upside down!

We got a couple of 3D pictures of Baby A because the other two were not cooperating enough... so here is the first 3D of Baby A. It's left arm is crossing in front of it's face.

3D of Baby A, in the same position as the last picture.

3D of Baby A- the arm moved out of the way.

Baby B

Baby C with the hand in front of it's face.

Baby C- it looks like this one might be sucking it's thumb.

The measurements of the skin on the back of the neck were measuring great! They measure that for the chance of Down Syndrome. They said that the measurements of our babies was great and the chance of DS is very very minimal! That was very reasuring. Well, thatnks for the prayers. We appreciate them all. I'll update with another belly picture on Thursday. Ta ta for now!

I would say I am getting FAT... but it's just babies growing!!

So here is my 12 week belly pic. These are hard to take on your own!! :-) I set the camera on my desk and set it to a 10 second timer then run and try to get a good picture. I usually end up taking about 10 shots. (I only took 8 today!) I hate having myself in pictures, but I suppose I should document this time!!

All is going well here though. We are looking forward to another appoinment and ultrasound on Monday. This is the appoinment when we get the babes tested for diseases such as Downs Syndrome and others. Please pray that all goes well and the babies are all growing healthy.

I stepped on the scale this morning and was down 2 pounds from the last time I was on the scale, which was last week some time. I decided today that I need to start eating more, even though right now I feel like I am eating like a horse! So I went and got a salad and smoothie for lunch and an extra salad for tomorrow. (I will at least be getting my veggies, cause these salads are HUGE!)

I am getting most of my FOYB time in. I did really bad this past weekend when we went to Gillette. There was too much to do and see because my sister's triplets were there and my sister and bro-in-law were not (they are in Florida!). I did get away without changing a diaper, but James did not. He got to change his very first diaper, and it was a poopy diaper! I couldn't stand the smell of them, they made me gag, that is why I got away without changing one. Thankfully my brother Doug and his girlfriend Kara were there too, so James only had to change ONE!

I hopefully will have some pictures to post in a post later today or tomorrow. I am supposed to be getting them from my dad. I forgot to get my camera out! Well, I suppose, I am done with my lunch break and need to get back to work. I hope you all are doing well and your prayers for us and our babies are much appreciated!!!

11 Week Belly Pic

I have been getting comments from a few people asking when I am going to put up a belly pic. I caved in and did one today.

Now, you must understand, although I do look quite a few months along right now, most of that is pre-pregnancy "padding" that is just getting pushed up and out! :-) So, here it is, 11 weeks and 3 days...

Laying Down on the Job!

Doctor's orders: "You must lay down to get the weight off of your cervix, three times a day for an hour at a time! Is that going to be possible while you are at work?"

"Sure!" I say, not knowing how difficult it really would be!

Six days later (aka yesterday, Tuesday, March 31) I get my first chance to try the 3 times a day while at work. It didn't work as well as I would have liked. James and I figured that if I laid down at 10:00, 2:00 and 6:00 I would be fine. HA! Yeah right.

I came in to work yesterday intent on making my three times of FOYB (Flat on your back as we call it at camp). I only got one. I was working so hard at getting my newsletter put together and sent out that I completely spaced my morning FOYB. I went to lunch then I forced myself to lay down at 1:00.

I accidentally fell asleep for probably 15 minutes! I suppose that is ok, but I was still working. Anyway, I had a meeting for camp in Colorado Springs that evening, so I also missed my evening FOYB!

Once I returned home, at a late late 9:00, I was tired and told James that I had only 1 FOYB time. He scolded me and said "Do you want to end up on bed rest?" Of course not, but it is just annoying to get the time flat. He made me lay down on the couch once I got home. Well, that lasted a whole 45 minutes before I had to go up to bed. I got good sleep though.

So, I managed to get my first hour of FOYB this morning at work. Hopefully I can get my second around 2:00. We'll see. My boss seems pretty intent on making me take that time so I think I will get it.

10 week update

Today we had a doctors appointment for the first time with our new doctor. It was a good appointment. It was really long though. We got a lot of information, a diet plan, and other supplements I need to be taking. It was A LOT! I was exhausted after the appointment.

We also had an ultrasound. Everyone is looking great. They are all measuring around 3.45cm and right on track date wise (10 weeks 2 days.) They were VERY active today too. We saw them move around a bunch. James could have sworn that one of them (baby C-one of the identicals) waved at us! It was soooo cool. We got to actually hear the heartbeats too.

The ultrasound pictures are not as clear as they have been in the past because they did a "regular" ultrasound (through my belly and not internal). So, here are babies pictures with their heartrates. Each heartrate was right around 180. The nurses said that that rate is normal at 10 weeks and the heartrate should drop to around 120-160 here pretty soon.

Here is our singleton. The heartrate here is 182bpm. This baby is on my left side.
The identicals are lettered B and C. This one is Baby B. They are both on my right side. The heartrate for this one is not on the picture but it was 180.
Here is Baby C. It's heartrate was 182 also. They are all doing so well!!!
Here are the measurement pictures of B and C. They forgot to get us one of Baby A.

The first picture here is of Baby C. He/she is just lounging there! Doesn't he/she look comfy?

The is Baby B. He/she is curled up on it's side kind of.

Well, as for momma, I am doing great. They checked my blood pressure and it was great! They told me that I need to gain no more than 45 pounds, but no less than 35 pounds, so I have to eat lots of good-for-me food. I also have to take Fish Oil!! (ewwwwwwwwwww!!!!) I really don't want to, but they say it will help, especially since I don't eat any fish.

Well, I suppose I have talked long enough. Our next appointment is on April 13 at 3:00 (this is more for my memory than for your info!!). That will be our 12 week appointment. How exciting!! Ta-ta for now!

Waiting Game

James and I are waiting as patiently as possible for our next doctors appointment. It is this coming Wednesday with our new doctor, Dr. Porreco. We both hope and pray that this appointment will go well. We were told that if we could make it to around 10 weeks with all 3 we most likely would carry all 3 till birth. I pray that all three are still thriving and healthy.

I have been feeling pretty good. I am still stinking nauseous, but I guess that is better than worshiping the porcelin god all the time. I have yet to do that. I am hoping it stays away. I have been cramping some, but nothing big, nothing long, and I am thinking it is just the stretching of the uterus.

I have a request of you. If you would like this to send you an automatic update when I post a new post, would you leave a comment with your email address. I have changed the comments so they have to be approved by me first before they are seen, so if you just give me your email address, I won't post that comment. If you leave another comment I will post that though. I hope that isn't confusing for you all. (You can also send me an email if you know my email address).

So, I'll update after our doctors appointment. Ta ta for now, and as always, your prayers are appreciated.

Preggie Pop Drops Rock!!!!!!

I have been incredibly nausous for the last 2 or 3 weeks. Finally, last Sunday James took me to the store to get Preggie Pops! They work wonders!!! I highly recommend them if you are carrying triplets!!! :)

I have found that I have to keep some kind of food in my stomach or in my mouth to ward off the queasiness. I have yet to empty the contents of my stomach! I really like that fact. I really would do anything short of cutting off my head before I did it, so I am glad I am keeping that at bay right now.

Now, that doesn't mean it eventually won't happen. Elizabeth (her blog) didn't start that until 9 weeks. Well, today is 8w3d for me (w-weeks & d-days). I hope it stays away.

In other news, I became an aunt again today (ok, honorary, but still...)! Jami, my best friend, had her baby. I'll let her announce everything on her blog, but soon we'll have pictures up on here! :) Congrats Jami and Brandon on your BEAUTIFUL baby!
