Alex Grant and Ethan are 3 years old

How can it be? How can they be 3? How can my life have changed so much so fast? Yet, it feels like it is dragging!!

The boys turned 3 years old on Aug 12!! My babies are no longer babies. They are little boys. They are rambunctious little things that love to ride their trikes (though they can't peddle them yet), run around, play hard, sleep hard, watch trains, watch dinosaurs, watch "Dinosaur Train",  play with cars, trains, boats, planes... anything that moves. They love their blankets. They drink their milk well. They are starting to eat more things, even though they are still some of the most picky eaters I have EVER seen.

Alex has chosen to be my "vegetarian". He would rather eat fruits, veggies, and bread, than eat meat. He loves grapes, blueberries, raspberries, green beans, peas, corn, taco shells, chips, toast, cereal.... oh, and anything sweet!

Grant loves to eat meat. Chicken nuggets to be exactly. He loves his chicken. But he also loves meatballs, fish sticks, chicken sticks, toast, bread, chips, cereal... and anything sweet too!

Ethan is still picky. His essentials are mac&cheese, cheeseburger rice, and malt-o-meal cereal (think cream of wheat). He will always eat these and veggie straws. But he will eat chicken sticks/nuggets, fish sticks, meatballs, ham, mashed potatoes and anything with rice once in a while. He also will eat peanut butter on graham crackers pretty regularly. However, he WILL NOT touch anything in the fruit or veggie categories (minus mashed potatoes)! I wish he would. I have to hide it in his food to get him to eat it. Even then if he notices it, he will spit it out. Gets fairly annoying!

They are growing though. Alex weighs about 34lbs. Grant weighs about 30lbs. Ethan finally weighs 26(ish) lbs.

They will be starting pre-school on August 27th. We went to their school for their open house last week and they really liked it. I think their teachers will do well with them. I do have a feeling it will be a rough few first weeks getting them used to following directions though!! They will be in different classrooms, so hopefully that will help them learn by seeing other kids.

They are now fully, completely, utterly, in the throws of the no-good-very-bad-tired-trying-terrible-horrible-I-can't-wait-to-get-out-of-this-stage 3's! The fighting is almost constant right now. As is the screaming from Ethan. He still does not use many words, so to vocalize, he uses screaming. It is quite annoying! And then, to pay him back, his brothers also scream. It is quite the ear-splitting sound when they all get in to it. :(
