Merry Christmas everyone! We had a wonderful Christmas Eve and Christmas day at our house. The boys did not understand what was going on, nor did they understand the whole presents thing, but it was fun nonetheless! Here is some pictures and videos from Christmas day and the day after Christmas.

Here was our loft with the tree and stockings all full with presents. We even have "presents ON the tree" since if we get envelopes or cards we put them on the tree.

I decided to do a video of the boys as they come out of their room to see what Santa brought them. Like I said, they don't quite understand yet.

WHEELS!!! The boys love wheels. Every car, truck, vehicle with wheels gets turned over and the wheels are spun like crazy.

See what I mean about the wheels??!!

Now, Grant is starting to be our book kid. Plus he LOVES animals. So, needless to say, these books from Santa were a big hit with him. He was "studying" the animals on the front of this book for some time. Not sure why exactly, but he was right up against the book looking.

I thought they might be a little overwhelmed with the presents and toys, but they did really well.

Grant was even kind enough to "smile" for the camera!

Jet has a stocking too. This year he got about 8 tennis balls in his stocking. I think Alex and Ethan had more fun with the tennis balls, throwing them for Jet, then Jet really did.

More wheels!!

The boys got a hat and some mittens from Grandma and Grandpa Fischer. We put the hats on Alex and Grant and the gloves on Grant. He was not fond of the gloves. In this video they have their hats on (Ethan wouldn't keep his on) and Ethan is playing with the helicopter they got.

We went to church Sunday morning. The boys spent the morning in the nursery. After church, it was gorgeous outside, so we spent a bit of time on our front lawn in the sun. It was so nice.

Grandma wanted a picture of them and the boys, so we took some. This was the best one.

I laid out a huge blanket on the grass and didn't think the boys would crawl off it. They used to be scared of the grass. However, Alex and Grant both ventured off. Ethan stayed put. He did not like the feel of the grass!

Alex found the stroller strapped on to the back of the van. Look, another wheel!!

Then he walked all over the driveway and sidewalk. I had to take their shoes off because they were dragging their feet when they crawl. It was scraping the leather off the tips of their shoes. So, they are in their socks. Oh well.

Grant got his exercise in for the day. He decided he was basically going to crawl around the block. He made it quite a ways around the corner, but there was broken glass on the sidewalk so we had to bring him back.

He enjoyed sitting on the corner!! :)

Trip to Gillette and new trick

James, the boys, and I went to Gillette this weekend to visit the family, go to my best friends' daughters 1 year birthday party and her shower for her new little one on the way. It was a crazy weekend, but we made it.

The boys didn't really have a great weekend, but they did ok. They were pretty spitty (as in spit-up a lot). Grant got a cold, and didn't sleep through any night we were there. That made for long nights for both Mommy and Daddy. We were tired but we got to see some good friends and family.

Grandpa Rigsby got to hold 3 of his 7 grandkids.

Alex also surprised me this weekend. He sat up on his own for a few seconds. I got video of it after he had been doing it for a few seconds.

The boys also got their last Synagis shot for this RSV season this morning. That threw off their entire day, so today was a bad day too. However, we did get an update on their weights!!

Alex - 15lbs 6.5ozs
Grant - 15lbs 10ozs
Ethan - 12lbs 15.5ozs

Grant and Alex are so close to each other it is basically not even measurable anymore if they have clothes on. Sometimes Alex might be heavier than Grant if he has a full diaper or something!! :) Ethan is so close to the 13lb mark that if he would have taken a bit more for his morning bottle, he would have been over. Oh well.

So, soon I will be on my own with these boys. The in-laws will be leaving to go back to ND in just a few short weeks, after a week long vacation to Phoenix. I am trying to figure out how to still be able to go in to work a couple of times a month. My aunt is coming to visit for a couple of days in April, so I have part of April covered. But, I still have to figure it out regularly.

James and I have thrown out a couple of ideas, but the cost of paying someone to come watch the boys is pretty up there. It would basically wipe out what I would earn in that day. Plus, we don't know if just one person would be able to handle the boys. (James and I can, and we trust some family too, but the boys can seriously be a handful sometimes.) Oh, so who knows. Any ideas and suggestions would be a great help.

We have to say congratulations to two sets of new parents. Our friends Dan and Jessica had their new little one, Ryder, on the 10th. And our friends Kristen and Dave, had their third little one, Libby, on the 13th. Congratulations to all of you on your new additions!!
Well, that is our update for now. I know I get a few people to read this, but if you do, please leave a comment. I would love to know who reads this. Thanks!

20 Weeks and all the happenings in the Fischer household

James and I are so excited to be 20 weeks along now! Things are starting to come together. James painted the nursery. It is a beautiful tan color that will go with anything. We set up a port-a-crib that we got from our church. It will actually go in our bedroom in case one of the boys gets fussy.

My parents also bought us a really nice crib that James couldn't wait to set up. He also moved a dresser and mirror from our guest room into the nursery. All the woods don't match, but we are working with what we've got.

We have registered for some really, really cute bumpers and blankets for the boys at Target. They are blue, brown, and a few other colors. They are soooooooo cute. One of them is even camo!! (My brother would love it!!) There are three different bumpers that all coordinate together! We will eventually have 3 full sized cribs for each of them, so we thought we would coordinate since they will be in the same room.

We also have registered at Babies-R-Us. There is lots of good stuff out there and I think we have found what we want at both those places. Then again, if you see something that we are missing let me know.

We also put a changing table in the loft. We will have one there and one on the main level in the living room. We also got these from our church! They are so nice and we will have baskets full of stuff on the shelves. In this picture, it was just junk that had to have a place.

So, James' parents came to visit over Memorial Day weekend and Larry did a bunch of work around the house for us. He istalled the fan in the nursery, put up a bunch of shelves and patched the hole I put in the garage wall. Peggy helped with dishes, cooking and laundry. We had a full closet for the first time in a long time! It was so nice to have them here. We didn't get any pictures. Oh well. Next time!

So, I suppose I should probably let you know what is going on with our boys! Well, we don't really know a lot more than our last post. I know that I can feel them kick and punch quite a bit. Not all the time though, and that bugs me. I am sure it will just be a matter of time before I am feeling it consistantly.

I am getting HUGE!!! James also commented today that my face is looking a little "puffy." I didn't realize that it was until about 7:00, so it might be just the evening time.

We have another appoinment this coming Friday, June 5. It is a growth check for all three and a fluid check for the twins. I can't wait to see them all again!

My aunt Tina came down last Saturday and flew to Washington DC on Sunday morning. She surprised her boys with the trip. It was fun to be a part of the ruse!

Anyway, we told her that we go see a doctor at Presbyterian/St.Luke's hospital. She actually gave birth there to her twins that had the twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome. Jeromy and Jacob were born (i think) 10 years ago, although Jeromy is the surviving twin. I asked her who her doctor was, and it turns out that her doctor(s) are the same as the doctors we have. I have heard nothing but good things about these doctors not only from Tina, but from a few others that have had Dr. Porecco and the others. That makes me feel good.

Well, it is time for me to get some sleep. Yeah for sleep!!! I need it. I was up ever hour last night, so hopefully I sleep better tonight. Good night, ya'll!

Pictures from visit to ND... Happy Birthday James!!!

We went to Fargo last night (Friday) and hung out with some of James' friends from college. We went to HuHot Mongolian Grill for dinner, then went to this quaint little pastry place called Nicole's Bakery. It was really really good. We then went to a bar and saw James' friend Dave's friend Blind Joe play his guitar. He is really good, but pretty vulgar. I somewhat felt dirty coming out of that bar because of all the profanity in his music.

Today is James' 25th birthday!!! We had a good day. He got ribs for dinner and his mom and I made a chocolate on chocolate cake for him. It was good. We then went to the park and "played" and took some pictures! It was fun. Here are some pictures of everything....

Here is James' friend Austin, outside of HuHot.Here is Dave and Austin outside of HuHot.Blind JoeDave, Erin and James at the bar watching Blind Joe.Erin and James... posers!!! :)Erin was trying to get her "sexy" on!!! Isn't he hot!!???!!Ok, so this picture just makes him look goofy!!!! Here is James with his birthday cake. We didn't have any candles. He really didn't get the birthday song either!!! Sorry babe.
Here is my father-in-law, Larry, at the park.
My mother-in-law, Peggy, at the partk.
Here are the "original" Fischers!!! Peggy, James, and Larry. James thinks he looks like a goon in this picture. What's your opinion? (I actually like it)
The "originals" again! I got Larry to smile a bunch, I was happy. (He doesn't smile for pics often)
Peggy, James, and me. I don't like this picture, but I had to put one in.

Visiting In-laws

James and I decided to fly up here to Fargo/Lisbon, ND. We are visiting James' parents at their house in Lisbon. It has been nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of Denver and the DNC.

Tonight James and I are going to Fargo to hang out with some of his college friends. It's gonna be really really fun.

I don't have any pictures up yet, but I will after tomorrow (Tomorrow is James' birthday!!! Send him an email.) I post pictures sometime!
